FAQs
Common Questions
Do I need to book an appointment?
Most of the tattoos we do are booked in first. This allows us to plan your design properly and give each client the time and attention they deserve. However, we happily accept walk-ins, so please check our Facebook or Instagram feed to see if we have space on the day, or feel free to pop in to see if we have availability.

How do I book a tattoo?
You can book by contacting us via our website contact form, Instagram, or in person at the studio. Please include as much detail as possible about your idea, size, placement, and any reference images.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit comes off the final price of your tattoo and protects the artist’s time and preparation work. Tattoo deposit amounts vary according to the price of the tattoo.

How much will my tattoo cost?
Prices vary depending on size, detail, placement, and time required. We’re happy to give a price estimate once we’ve discussed your idea. Quality tattooing is an investment, and we never rush work to cut corners.

Can you design my tattoo for me?
Absolutely. Custom design is a big part of what we do. We’ll work with your ideas and references to create something unique that fits your body and lasts well as a tattoo.

Will I see the design before my appointment?
Your design is usually shown on the day of your appointment. Minor adjustments can be made then to ensure you’re completely happy before we start tattooing.

How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Get a good night’s sleep, eat a proper meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

Does getting a tattoo hurt?
We're not going to lie...yes, tattoos do. Tattoos do involve some level of discomfort, but everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Most people describe it as manageable, and we’ll always work at a pace that keeps you as comfortable as possible.

How long will my tattoo take?
This depends on the size and complexity of the design. Small tattoos may take under an hour, while larger pieces can take several hours or multiple sessions. We’ll give you a time estimate when booking.

What aftercare is required?
You’ll be given full aftercare instructions after your appointment. Following these carefully is essential for proper healing and long-term tattoo quality. We’re always happy to answer aftercare questions if you’re unsure.

Can I get a tattoo if I’m under 18?
No. We strictly follow UK law and do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent. Valid photo ID is required for all clients. We accept a UK valid driving licence, passport or a post office PASS card.

Can I bring a friend with me?
Due to new licencing laws and regulations in Wales, only the client and tattooists can be next to the station, however, friends and family can feel free to sit in reception if they like and peruse our portfolio books or have a game on one of our arcade mcahines.

Do you do cover-ups or reworks?
Yes absolutely! Cover-ups and reworks are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Send clear photos of the existing tattoo along with your ideas, and we’ll let you know what’s possible, or feel free to pop into the shop and show us in person.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in your deposit being lost.

Is your studio safe and hygienic?
Absolutely. We operate to the highest hygiene standards, using single-use needles, sterile equipment, and hospital-grade cleaning procedures to ensure your safety at all times.

What styles of tattoo do you specialise in?
Between the 3 of us there isn't a style we can't do! We specialise in a range of styles including blackwork, illustrative, fine line, traditional, anime, dot work and custom designs. If you’re unsure whether your idea suit us, just ask.
